    Review & Giveaway: CharcoCaps Supplements

    Review & Giveaway:
CharcoCaps Homeopathic Anti-Gas & Dietary Supplement
    Ends 8/1 @ 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
Let me start off by saying I have colitis, and it sucks. Balls. When I was in high school I suffered from several stomach ulcers, which of corse developed into Ulcerative colitis. If your not familiar with this think Crohn's disease, here's info from Google Health Ulcerative Colitis Overview:
Ulcerative colitis: a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that affects the large intestine (colon) and rectum.
    Symptoms

    • Abdominal pain and cramping that usually disappears after a bowel movement
    • Abdominal sounds (a gurgling or splashing sound heard over the intestine)
    • Diarrhea, from only a few episodes to very often throughout the day (blood and mucus may be present)
    • Fever
    • Tenesmus (rectal pain)
    • Weight loss
    • Other symptoms that may occur with ulcerative colitis include the following:
    • Gastrointestinal bleeding
    • Joint pain
    • Nausea and vomiting

Now, I know that constant nausea, vomiting, and weight loss/fluctuation sounds fun, but it's really not as enjoyable as it sounds. My recommended diet is basically no meat, no grain, no fried or fatty foods, no dairy, and no high fiber foods (needless to say Tofu is a staple in my house). Colitis is something that effects me everyday and often screws my days up. Not to mention my case is unresponsive to non-herbal medication, and I still can't get a great grasp on what foods I can and can not eat (each case is different).

When I noticed this review and giveaway was up for grabs, I remembered charcoal is a known aid in colitis relief and was quick to the draw. So I figured, lets test it to the best of my capabilities. So what did I do?

I went to Golden Corral and STUFFED MY FACE with all the foods I've missed.
I also helped Jo stuff his face too of coarse.

That's right, I went to the most horrible place for someone with irritable bowls. MUHAHAHA!!! Now, you have to realize, this is not me. I usually watch my food and weight constantly to try and keep it under wraps, and haven't been to a buffet in over 2 years, until now.

Although I was disappointed in Golden Coral. $10.50 for buffet?!?! Ugh. What happened to $6.50-$7? Any ways so I figured, why not take pictures of all the things we ate, so you can get an idea about how charcoal can help you.
    My Count:
    • Plate 1 - Cheese pizza, mac n' cheese, and steak.
    • Plate 2 - More mac n' cheese, sweet potato suffle, caesar salad, bourbon chicken, and pot roas.
    • Plate 3 - 2 rolls.
    • Plate 4 - Lemon tart, chocolate silk pie, 1 strawberry, chocolate molten cake, and 1 rice crispy treat.

    Jo's Count:
    • Plate 1 - Short ribs, fried fish, mac n's cheese, veggies, and chips.
    • Plate 2 - Pepperoni pizza, fried fish, salad, more pepperoni, 1 roll, and roast beef.
    • Plate 3 - Sweet potato suffle, orange slice, 1 strawberry, and blueberry pie.
    • Plate 4 - Cake and 1 roll.

    First Impressions:
So, after eating myself into oblivion I started to feel very sluggish and quite nauseated I will say. Not to mention Jo was boo-hooing all the way out the door. Jo and I both took 2 pills from the pink box and waited to see what happened.

After about 20 mins, we both felt better and with-in an hour I felt wonderful. No problems what so ever! Jo felt great too.

    But is it worth it?
To me this product is invaluable. Both the dietary supplement and the homeopathic supplement work extremely well, I take them whenever I feel bad and poof, I'm better with0in 20 mins, and feel great the rest of the day.

It's also great for people who over eat and may need help feeling relief. They are very easy to take and come in gelcap form. Charcoal is also a great internal detoxifier.

    So in the end?
I will be a common buyer of this product and will continue my use. It's a great addition to any diet.
